Homework week 4

Johari results:

From what I can tell by looking at the results of the Johari Window Tool I can see immediately that other people have selected a wide array of attributes.

What attributes described in Johari Window exercise do you see as key to dealing with clients?
Helpful, calm, trustworthy, patient, kind.

What attributes are key to dealing with your colleagues?
Trustworthy, sensible, patient, helpful, calm.

What attributes are key to dealing with yourself?
Happy, loving, patient, independant.

What attributes are key to dealing with your boss?
Kind, clever, trustworthy, sensible, ingenious.

How does your version of the Johari Window differ from your friends/close contacts?
My version of the Johari Window compared to others was quite similar for the most part. People were able to distinguish most of the traits I identified for myself, while also assigning more traits similar to the ones I chose.

How does this exercise make you think about your position in the workplace (ie. do you think you would be a good co-worker or boss or are there things you think you need to work on/develop?)
In the workplace I think that I would be a great leader. It might not seem like great leaders are quiet and introverted however, I also have attributes such as helpful, patient, happy and calm. All of which are useful when dealing with co-workers.

In saying this, of course there are aspects where I need to improve. If I can somehow get a more outgoing perspective and impliment it into day to day work it will benefit me a lot.
