Homework Week 3

This week we are tasked with designing a logo for a media brand. Below are pictures of my process through the "Create a logo design contest". Based on all of these results I have created two different logos. Below is the resume template I designed.

Week 3 Workshop

During the workshop we worked in groups and looked at who the primary and secondary stakeholders of the road safety brief were. We created out own personas based off of the primay stakeholders and presented them to the class. The persona that I developed was a primary school teacher volunteering as a lollipop person before and after school hours.

Homework Week 2

What is my personality type? The results I got from the Humanmetrics Jung Typology Test were consistent with the ISTJ personality type. ISTJ stands for Introvert, Sensing, Thinking and Judging. It appears that I am: 47% Introvert 22% Sensing 12% Thinking 41% Judging What other famous people share this personality type? According to josephchris.com  the following celebrities have the same personality type as me: Pope Benedict XVI Natalie Portman Queen Elizabeth II George Washington Richard Nixon Looking at the above selection of people I immediately notice that most of them have influence in politics and acting.  Was I surprised by the test results? At first the results were a surprise however, the more I look into what having this personality type means and other people who are associated with this personality type I'm beginning to understand why. Homework Week 1

Meet Curtus. Curtus, the friendly zombie. He's here to remind me that I am not designing for myself, I am designing for people! If you're designing for people, then talk to them. I find when I communicate my ideas to people who are outside of the design industry the feedback is very opinionated and concise. This kind of feedback is valuable to a designer because it allows us to reflect and gain new perspectives we may not have evaluated.
